2008 MEETING REPORTS
I drove to extreme East Texas Thursday and Preached Thursday night and Friday morning for the annual Beams Rally conducted by Pastor Trull and Beams President Rene' Freret. This is a meeting promoting the distribution of Bibles at no cost to Missionaries around the world. This work continues to grow and God continues to bless the efforts of Bro. Freret' and all those who aid him in this endeavor. I have been blessed to be included in this meeting for the last four years and look forward to returning next January, the Lord willing. Bro. Trull and Bro. Freret' are pictured.
I left the meeting in Texarkana shortly after noon and drove the 90 miles west to Paris, TX and checked in and got ready for the Super Weekend Revival with Bro. Brown. I had been in two previous meetings with Bro. Brown but this was the best one yet. God gave us a number of decisions from Christians about this New Year and we were blessed throughout the meeting.Bro. Brown has scheduled me back in 2009 and I look forward to being with him again.
This was my second year to do Bro. Shearins' Mission Conference and it was a special time with five Missionary families in for the conference presenting their fields and visiting Sunday School classes. I spoke six time during the conference and the Pastor was planning to receive the final commitments on Sunday the 17th. The Church voted to take on every Missionary that was present in the conference and the meeting ended on a high note. I am scheduled to return next year and I look forward to continued growth. The Church added a major addition to their building this past year and the area continues to grow.
This was my sixth year to be with Bro. Crawford for his annual Stewardship Conference and as usual he had planned well and we enjoyed a good meeting. This was the second meeting I conducted for him since they moved into the new building at the new location and they continue to make progress with many visitors each week and lots of interest from the area. I look forward to good days ahead for this good work.
Sunday January 27th I was with Bro. Kelly for the closing Sunday of his month of Stewardship emphasis and I am always blessed by being at this good Church and enjoying the fellowship of Bro. Kelly and his people. The building was filled for both services and God blessed in a wonderful way in both services. Bro. Kelly was to take the financial commitments the first Sunday in February to finalize the special stewardship emphasize.
Friday-Sunday February 1st-3rd I flew into Kansas City, KS on Friday and Bro. Gibson met me and we drove the three hours across the snow into Moberly, MO to the motel and then on to the Church to begin the Super Weekend Revival. Bro. Gibson has well prepared and we had a wonderful five services Friday-Sunday with folks saved and added to the Church as well as many decisions by Christians. I look forward to returning next February, the Lord willing.
Sunday February 10th I drove out to Odessa, TX on Saturday and was privileged
to preach for Bro. Lyons on the thirty fourth anniversary of the Church. Bro.
James Channel, the founding Pastor was there and Bro. Lyons recognized him and
we enjoyed a wonderful day of Fellowship, Preaching and Singing.
Wednesday-Sunday February 13th-17th I drove up to Rogers, AR on Wednesday and began the annual Missions Conference with Bro. Slate and the good Church in Rogers. We had a tremendous Conference. There were four Missionary Families present and the Church went all out in preparing for the conference, the special activities and the care of all who were present. Souls were saved, three adults were baptized and a spirit of revival was present throughout the Missions Conference.
This was my first time to be with Bro. Shipman and it was the first Stewardship Revival he had conducted since becoming Pastor at Fairview. We had a grand Super Weekend Conference with many good decisions made and a great time of fellowship with the Church during the five services we conducted from Friday night through Sunday night. We had cold weather, snow, hail and whatever, but God sure gave us a good meeting and I look forward to returning at the end of next February. Perhaps the weather will be better.
I have been with Bro. Seale for some special services in the past years but this was the first time we had a meeting and the Super Weekend Revival was a real blessing to everyone involved. We had good attendance, several visiting Pastors and Church members and there were many decisions made among the Church members. There was an adult man saved as well and we closed out the meeting with the Sunday morning service. Bob Wills and his sister Angel were there to provide special music Saturday night and Sunday morning and it was good to see them. Bro. Seale is doing a good work there in the small town of Clarendon way up in the Texas panhandle.
I drove 65 miles north of Clarendon on Sunday afternoon and was with Bro. Bigham for the evening services. He had heard that I would finish up at noon with Bro. Seale and he called and invited me to finish the day with him at Arden Road. We had a great crowd with good music, good testimonies and a wonderful service. I am always blessed to be with this Pastor and these good people and I look forward to returning for a Super Weekend Revival the first of April.
I drove over to Wake Village, TX which is just a part of Texarkana, TX for all practical purposes and we had a Super Weekend Stewardship Conference with Bro. Trull and the good Church that he serves. There were a number of decisions, five good services and we had a good financial commitment from the members on Sunday morning and night. I enjoyed my time with these good people and we got through the time change without any casualties.

The Church is growing rapidly, they have purchased land out on Highway 1187 and have their long range plans made for building and moving all their facilities out to the new property. The Church has been wonderfully blessed since Bro. Suggs became Pastor about five or six years ago and I look for continuing growth and blessings on the Church.

This was my second meeting with Bro. Denson since he became Pastor and the Church has completed a building project, there is a great spirit and we enjoyed the blessings of God in a great Stewardship meeting. They have a wonderful complex and a great people and continue to have a vision to do Gods work there in the panhandle.

God spoke to a number of hearts and it was a good mid-week service. I have a number of Wednesdays open since I am doing so many Super Weekend Revivals and I enjoyed being with Bro. Wade for this good night. I will be back in June to preach at Bro. Wades 36th anniversary as Pastor, the Lord willing and I look forward to that time.

Monday-Tuesday April 14th-15th
I always enjoy attending this annual meeting. Bro. Flowers has asked to to preach each year for longer than I can remember and it is always a special time as preachers gather from many states for a night and day of preaching and fellowship. Dr. Harold Clayton was to preach with me during the meeting but was taken ill on Tuesday morning and had to be taken home for emergency care. The meeting was well attended and many good decisions were made as preachers determined not to quit. The meeting will take place April 27th and 28th of 2009, the Lord willing. Why not plan to attend.
Sunday-Wednesday April 20th-23rd
This was my first time to be with Bro. Williams and we enjoyed a wonderful Missions Conference at Choctaw Baptist Church. It is good to see a thriving fundamental Baptist Church in this area.

This was my third time to be with Bro. Butcher and the good folks at Fairview and God gave us a good meeting with a number of decisions made by members of the Church. The Church is located out in the Piney woods sixteen miles from the nearest town and yet they continue to grow and had visitors in each service of the meeting. I always enjoy being with Bro. Butcher and look forward to returning next year, the Lord willing.
